Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that due to road resurfacing works, on the R505 between cross of the bog to cooga cross Doon. A road closure will be in place with diversions. The Closure will be in place between (10:00 to 13:00hrs) on Wednesday 8th of July. Local access will be accommodated.

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that due to road resurfacing works, on the R506 Cappanouk between O, Deas Cross and Dromsally a road closure will be in place with diversions. The Closure will be in place between (14:00 to 17:00hrs) on Wednesday 8th of July. Local access will be accommodated.

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that non-excavation CCTV works will take place on the R518, Church Street, Askeaton, Co. Limerick from Tuesday 7th July to Thursday 9th July 2026 between 8:00hrs and 17:00hrs.  A Stop/Go system will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that due to the construction of a cattle underpass, on the L1157 at Scart, Kilteely between Herbertstown and Old Pallas a Temporary Traffic Management Operation will be in place, involving 24-hour ROAD CLOSURE and DETOUR will be in place from Monday 6th July 2026 to Friday 17th July 2026. Local access will be accommodated. 

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that the N21 Kilgobbin to Gorteen Adare Co Limerick East Bound Hard Shoulder Closure on N21 from N21 Junction with L1427 to the start of the dual carriageway at Gorteen East Bound Hard Shoulder Closure will take place from Monday 6th July to Friday 2nd October 2026. This closure is necessary to facilitate the Road construction and Facilities Installations works.

Limerick City and County Council Traffic Operations wish to advise of the following Traffic Control & Traffic Management will be put in place to facilitate a crane lift at a site just off St. Nessan’s Road R526. Contractors & Traffic Management will be on site for 10hrs (05:00 to 15:00hrs) on St. Nessans Road on Thursday the 9th of July 2026. The Site is located 70m from the Ballykeefe Roundabout between the Doctors Surgery/Dooradoyle Medical Centre and Keating’s Pharmacy. Vehicle Traffic will not be affected, Pedestrian Management will be in place as it is required. Pedestrians are asked to make use of the Ballykeefe Traffic Signals and Zebra Crossing at the Crescent Shopping Centre.

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that due to road resurfacing works, on the L1165 Castletroy College Road between the Annacotty Roundabout and Castletroy College a Temporary Traffic Management Operation will be in place, involving a stop and go system from Monday 6th July to Thursday 9th July.

Limerick City and County Council advise motorists and road users that road works involving Bridge Rehabilitation Works located at Coolagh Bridge on the L1422 local road at Tuogh, Adare, Co. Limerick, between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm will be ongoing from Monday 6th July to Friday 31st July. A stop go traffic management operation will be in place for the duration of the works.
