Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that overnight road works to facilitate safety barrier repairs will take place at M20 Junction 1 (Rossbrien) on Monday, 13th July from 9pm to 6am.

Janesboro FC in association with the FAI Cup will host Sligo Rovers FC on Saturday July 18th at 5pm at Janesboro Football Club, Pearse Stadium, Just off Colbert Avenue, Janesboro, Limerick.

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that road construction works will take place on the L1423: Curraghbeg, Adare, Co Limerick from Monday 13th July to Friday 31st July 2026 between the hours of 07:00hrs and 19:00hrs. Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that overhead bridge works will take place on the L1424: Mondellihy, Adare, Co Limerick between the hours of 07:00hrs and 18:30hrs from Friday 10th July to Friday 17th July 2026. As a result, a temporary traffic management involving intermittent STOP/GO operation will be in place for the duration of the works.

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that due to the construction of a cattle underpass, on the L1157 at Scart, Kilteely between Herbertstown and Old Pallas a Temporary Traffic Management Operation will be in place, involving 24-hour ROAD CLOSURE and DETOUR will be in place from Monday 6th July 2026 to Friday 17th July 2026. Local access will be accommodated. 

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that the N21 Kilgobbin to Gorteen Adare Co Limerick East Bound Hard Shoulder Closure on N21 from N21 Junction with L1427 to the start of the dual carriageway at Gorteen East Bound Hard Shoulder Closure will take place from Monday 6th July to Friday 2nd October 2026. This closure is necessary to facilitate the Road construction and Facilities Installations works.
