As Summer in the City draws to a close, Limerick City and County Council is encouraging residents and visitors to make the most of the final days of summer and enjoy one last weekend of free events, vibrant public spaces and city-centre experiences that transformed Limerick throughout August.
Limerick City and County Council will officially open the online portal for Affordable Housing at Castle Place (Phase 3), Newcastle West, Co. Limerick from 12:00 noon on Monday 31st August 2026 to 12:00 noon on Monday 28th September 2026. Applications will open for 23 x 3 Bedroom houses. Homes will be available for first-time buyers and fresh start applicants who do not own a home (although a small number of exceptions apply).
