Global Television Production Showcases Newcastle West While Supporting Local Jobs and Talent

Film in Limerick, operated by Limerick City and County Council is delighted to support production on the second season of The Wayfinders, a fantasy drama TV series now filming across Limerick and the wider Mid-West region. Filming has wrapped in Newcastle West where the production was on location this month. Produced by Limerick-based Dark Day Pictures in partnership with US production company Arrowstorm, The Wayfinders series represents another significant international production for the region.

Contracts Signed for Design Team to Redevelop Former Bank of Ireland Building in Rathkeale

Limerick City and County Council is delighted to announce that contracts have been formally signed for the appointment of an integrated design team to lead the redevelopment of the former Bank of Ireland building in Rathkeale, Co. Limerick. The building is a protected structure and a landmark on the main street of Rathkeale. It will be repurposed to serve community needs in the future. The design team is set to work initially to develop preliminary options and layouts before progressing a planning consent application later in the year.
