Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that Ducting installation will take place on the N21 at Rineroe, Adare, Co. Limerick between the hours of 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs on Tuesday 17th February 2026 to Friday 20th February 2026.

As a result, a temporary traffic management operation involving Temporary Traffic lights will be in place for the duration of the works. Emergency service vehicles will have through access.

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that there is single lane traffic and traffic lights at Danganbeg, Castlemahon, Co. Limerick due to a bridge strike and will be in place until further notice.

Limerick City and County Council wishes to advise motorists and road users of road works involving Junction Realignment, Footpath Replacement and Macadam Road Surface Overlay taking place along Greenhill Road (L10199), Garryowen, Limerick City From Thursday 8th January 2026 to Friday 27th March 2026, from 08:00 to 18:00. Localised Traffic Management will be in place for the duration of works. Access for residents and business operators will be maintained during this period.

Limerick City and County Council advise motorists and road users that roadworks will be undertaken on the N21 to facilitate Embankment Construction Works in the vicinity of the Monearla Bridge on a continuous basis from Wednesday 7th January 2026 to Friday 27th March 2026. The N21 Eastbound hard shoulder will be closed for the duration of the works. Motorists are advised that minor delays are expected during this period.

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that road works will take place on the Knockalisheen Road – from the newly constructed Knockalisheen Roundabout to the Junction at Moyross Avenue from  Friday 28th November 2025 to Monday 29th June 2026 to facilitate the construction of the Knockalisheen Road, part of the Coonagh to Knockalisheen Distributor Road project

Local access for residents affected will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Limerick City and County Council advises that bus/coach parking is no longer permitted on Merchants Quay (L-10120-2) for the foreseeable future. This is to facilitate works on the King’s Island Flood Relief Scheme, with Ward & Burke as the main contractors.

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users of the following in place: No Bus/Coach Parking on Merchant's Quay (L-10120-2) Limerick for the foreseeable future from 10th of July 2025; this is to facilitate the King’s Island Flood Relief Scheme/Project (Ward & Burke Main Contractors are on Site and require this area).
