Notice is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of the Roads Act 1993 of the intention of Limerick City and County Council to close the sections of roads detailed hereunder at the specified locations and times to facilitate: for Christmas in Limerick 2026 events. The Crescent Road Closure for the Georgian Fayre & The Light-Up Limerick Christmas Procession Parade on Saturday the 21st of November 2026.

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise road users that Grass/Hedge Cutting Works will take place on the N21 Murphys Cross to the County Kerry Boundary from Monday 12th October 2026 to Friday 16th October 2026 from 19.00hrs to 06.00hrs nightly. As a result, a temporary traffic management operation involving STOP/GO operation will be in place.

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise road users that Bridge Maintenance Works will take place on the N69 Ferry Bridge from Monday 12th October 2026 to Friday 16th October 2026 from 9:30am to 3:15pm daily.

Limerick City and County Council wishes to advise motorists, residents, businesses and road users that a temporary road closure will be in place on Kilmallock Road (R512) to facilitate Irish Rail Bridge Gang Works at Irish Rail Bridge UBL3, R512 Kilmallock Road, Co. Limerick.The closure will affect: Kilmallock Road (R512) from Friday, 16th October 2026 at 10am to Monday, 19th October 2026 at 5am. A 24-hour closure will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Limerick East Bound Hard Shoulder Closure will take place from Tuesday 6th October 2026 to Friday 15th January 2027. This closure is necessary to facilitate the Road construction and Facilities Installations works. A traffic management system will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Limerick City and County Council advises motorists and road users that the following temporary night-time road closure will be in place to facilitate works on the N21 Eastbound and Westbound Lanes from Attyflin Junction 5 (intersection of the M20 with the N20) to the junction of the N21 with the L1427 from 7th October to 18th October 2026 nightly from 21:00hrs to 06:00hrs.

Limerick City and County Council wishes to advise motorists, cyclists, pedestrians and road users that temporary traffic management measures will be in place at Bishop's Quay, Limerick City, to facilitate a fit-out project for a medical facility on the ground floor of the Verizon Building being undertaken by Elliott Group Ltd from Monday, 5th October 2026 to 22nd January 2027 from 8am to 18pm daily.
