Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that Installation of footpaths and Overhead Bridge works will take place on the L1422 – Tuogh, Adare, Co Limerick from Monday 27th April to Friday 1st May between the hours of 08:00hrs and 18:00hrs. As a result, a temporary traffic management operation involving intermittent STOP/GO operation will be in place for the duration of the works. Emergency service vehicles will have through access.

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that Sisk plan to complete railway crossing point Gate Installation works at the Limerick-Foynes railway crossing on Childers Road, Rathbane, Limerick from Monday 27th April 2026 to Thursday 30th April 2026, from10:00hrs to 16:00 hrs. As a result, Traffic Management operations will be in place for the duration of these works.

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that a temporary road closure will be in place on the R505 – Cappamore to Doon Road on Saturday 9th May 2026 between 04:00am  to 05:30 am.The road closure is required to facilitate the Pieta Darkness Into Light 2026 Walk, which will be held in Cappamore village. The walk will commence at 4:15 am and consists of a 5km walking route, with up to two hours allowed for participants to complete the event safely.

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that due to road drainage works, on a section of the L8545 in Ballinacourty, Kilfinnane, a Temporary Traffic Management Operation will be in place, involving road closure and localised detour on a section of the L8545 from Smith’s Cross (R517) to Ballinacourty Cross (L1531) from Monday 27th April 2026 to Friday 1st May 2026 from 8.30am to 4pm daily.

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that due to surveying works, on a section of the R512 and R518 at North Bridge Junction in Kilmallock, a Temporary Traffic Management Operation will be in place, involving STOP/GO operation on Wednesday 29th of April 2026 from 9:30 am to 4pm.

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that Maintenance Works will be taking place on Ferry Bridge Cloghatacka Co.Limerick near Clarina Village from Monday 27th April to Friday 15th May. Works will be between the hours of 9:30hrs to 16:30hrs. Motorists are advised that delays are expected during this period. Stop and Go system will be in place for the duration of the notice.
