Limerick City and County Council wishes to advise motorists and road users that Colas JV, on behalf of Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), will implement overnight slip road closures on the M7 Motorway to facilitate Duct Proving Works.The traffic management arrangements will be as follows:

• Monday 21 September 2026 (8.00pm to 6.00am): M7 Eastbound On-Slip Closure at Junction 30
• Tuesday 22 September 2026 (8.00pm to 6.00am): M7 Eastbound On-Slip Closure at Junction 30
• Wednesday 23 September 2026 (8.00pm to 6.00am): M7 Eastbound On-Slip Closure at Junction 30 (R526 Slip Road)

Limerick City and County Council wishes to advise motorists, residents, businesses and road users that a temporary road closure will be in place on the L-1420 from the N21 roundabout junction to the Ballyouragan/Fanningstown (L-1478) junction at Caherass Nursing Home to facilitate the installation of a new watermain. The closure will affect L-1420 from the N21 roundabout junction to the Ballyouragan/Fanningstown (L-1478) junction at Caherass Nursing Home, a distance of approximately 2.2km. The road closure will be in effect from 21st September 2026 to 30th October 2026. The road will be closed daily between 8.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m., with a 24-hour closure in place on 30th October 2026.

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that verge improvement works will take place on the N69 from Clarina Village Roundabout to the L8039 at Court Cross, Kildimo between Tuesday, 15th September 2026 and Friday 25th September 2026 between 08:00 and 17:00 daily, Monday to Friday.

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that Road Resurfacing Works will take place on the R515 Dromcollogher to Milford road from Monday 21st to Friday 25th September 2026 from 08:00hrs to18:00hrs. As a result, a temporary traffic management operation involving a Stop/Go will be in operation between these hours for the duration of the works. Local Access to Residences will be maintained. Emergency service vehicles will be accommodated. 

Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that road works will take place at the R-522 Carroward East, Dromcollogher, Co Limerick from Monday 14th of September to Friday 9th of October between the hours of 08:00hrs and 18:00hrs to facilitate pedestrian crossing, footpaths and drainage works.
