Dr Mary Ryan, Consultant Endocrinologist at the Bons Secours Hospital, will encourage women in business to value themselves more and avoid exhaustion at Network Ireland Limerick’s next event taking place on Wednesday 18th September at the Clarion Hotel, Limerick.

A regular speaker on the importance of empowerment, equality and living a healthy lifestyle, Dr Ryan will explain the detrimental impact hectic lifestyles are having on everyone and the impact of fatigue and burnout on women’s hormones and health with long-term consequences. She will also call on women in business to respect themselves more and demand more respect from others.

Businesswomen throughout the Mid West are welcome to attend the event which is free for Network Ireland Limerick Members and €20 for non-members.

According to Dr Ryan, women need to be empowered more and encouraged to slow down long enough to understand their own needs and build a more respectful relationship with themselves and others to prevent stress and burnout.

Catriona O’Donoghue, President of Network Ireland Limerick, said, “Women are notorious for juggling and having too many balls in the air. This event is all about taking stock, checking in with how we’re doing and being aware of the harm fatigue and burnout can have on our bodies.”

The event starts with informal networking and refreshments at 6pm.

To attend Network Ireland Limerick’s event in The Clayton Hotel on Wednesday 18 September, please book online via www.networkireland.ie or Eventbrite or call 085 1089273.
