The Draft Development Plan has been prepared in accordance with the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended), higher tier international, national and regional level plans, ministerial guidelines and with regard to local level strategies and plans. The Living City Initiative is a scheme of property tax incentives designed to regenerate both historic buildings and other buildings in Limerick.

Limerick City and County Council is offering incentives for the encouragement of Business & Retail within the core retail and business area of the city centre, towns and villages centre of Limerick. The grant is being offered as a contribution towards fit out costs.
