Limerick for Engineering is a pioneering collaboration between industry and education and training providers.
The consortium’s focus is to increase the quality and quantity of engineering talent - engineers, technicians and apprentices – available in the region.
It is committed to sustaining growth for the engineering and manufacturing industry and to share expertise and resources to ensure that graduate skills are relevant to career opportunities locally.
Industry partners include Analog Devices, Cook Medical, Optel Vision, Stryker, Takumi Precision, Vistakon, modular Automation and Zimmer, supported by academic partners at LIT and UL and the LCETB.
