Library Branches

From Tuesday 1st December the country returns to Level 3 restrictions under the Government's Plan for Living with Covid-19. Limerick city and county library branches will reopen to the public for limited browsing and ‘Call and Collect’.

Library branches that are opening can allow limited numbers to enter the branch for 15 minute visits to browse and borrow. Please check with your local library branch below for opening hours.

There will be no public access to study facilities, internet, Wi-Fi, newspapers/magazines, community rooms, exhibition spaces or public toilets during this phase.

Limerick Library's hugely popular online services will continue to be provided; free access to eBooks, newspapers, magazines, local history, language learning courses, Decade of Centenaries digital exhibitions and storytime. Click here for more.

The online request service will resume on Thursday 3rd December 2020.
