Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Limerick City & County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to introduce the following road layout amendments on the L1133, in Moore St, Cappamore, Co. Limerick

• Installation of a new footpath on Moore St and all associated works.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 58(13) of the Planning and Development Act 2024 (as amended) that Limerick City and County Council, being the planning authority for the area, have prepared Proposed Material Alterations to Proposed Variation No. 3 of the Limerick Development Plan 2022-2028 (as varied).

In accordance with Article 13(1)(b) of the European Communities (Environmental Assessment of Certain Plans and Programmes) Regulations 2004, as amended, notice is hereby given that Limerick City and County Council has prepared:

Supported by the Limerick Sports Partnership, Limerick City and County Council are leading the preparation of a Local Sports Plan for Limerick. The aim of this plan is to increase participation in sport and physical activity across the City and County. This aligns with the  Government’s National Sports Policy 2018–2027 and is supported by Sport Ireland under Action 8 of the policy.

Limerick City and County Council announced that construction of the South Circular Road Active Travel Scheme will commence on 20 July 2026, with Sorensen Civil Engineering appointed as the contractor to deliver the project.

In accordance with Section 180 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended), Limerick City and County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to consider the making of an order under Section 11 of the Roads Act 1993 to declare the roads set out in the schedule hereunder to be public roads.

The Finance (Local Property Tax) Act 2012 (as amended), makes specific provision that elected members of a local authority may pass a formal resolution to vary the basic rate of the Local Property Tax for their administrative area by a percentage known as the local adjustment factor. At the meeting set by Limerick City and County Council to consider this matter, the members may set a local adjustment factor within the range of - 15% to +25% of the basic rate, or, may decide not to adjust the basic rate.

Limerick.
