Watch House Cross Community Library supports lifelong learning by providing a space that encourages a love of reading and promotes literacy, culture and information access on the north side of Limerick City.
Watch House Cross Community Library provides access to over 35,000 items including books, CDs, DVDs, and audio books. Internet access is provided to all members for up to one hour per day. Community rooms, which are free of charge, are available for use by voluntary and community groups: booking is essential.
Other facilities include a PC room, an exhibition space, a craft room, a language room and a sensory room.
Autism and Visiting the Library

A Sensory Room is a specially designed room that can help individuals with sensory impairments, learning and development difficulties and those on the Autism spectrum. Sensory rooms combine a range of stimuli to aid, develop and engage the senses.
Watch House Cross Community Library Sensory Room has a range of visual, tactile, auditory and vestibular stimuli. The Sensory Room is available for use by parents, guardians and carers of children, teens and adults with Autism, sensory impairments, special needs and learning and development difficulties. It is also available for teachers and SNAs to use.
