Bike Week is a celebration and promotion of all that is great about bikes and cycling. Held each year, with bike themed events organised by local authorities, community groups and cycling groups throughout Ireland. Bike Week will run from Saturday 13th to Sunday 21st May 2023.
From free bicycle checks, fun cycles, lunchtime city rides, heritage cycles, school cycling events, bike festivals, road races and much more, there’s something for every age and ability. National Bike Week is an initiative of the Department of Transport.
As part of National Bike Week, Limerick City and County Council organises a week of events in workplaces, campuses, schools and communities, all centred around a shared love of cycling. Bike Week will run this year from Saturday 13th to Sunday 21st May 2023.
Bike Week Grant Applications are now being accepted. The closing date for applications is 12noon on Monday 3rd April 2023.
