Road Licences and Permits

  • Driving Licences

    National Driver Licence Service or NDLS, is the new dedicated service which receives applications for learner permits and driver licences.

  • Abnormal Load Permits

    Limerick City and County Council will issue an Abnormal Load Permit on receipt of completed application form and appropriate fee.

  • Road Opening Licences

    Limerick City and County Council wishes to advise the public that it is an offence to deface, damage or dig up a public road without the prior consent of the Council in the form of a Road Opening Licence.

  • Licensing of Skips on Public Roads

    Applications for a skip licence on a public road should be made in writing to the address below.
