Limerick City and County Council is inviting residents and visitors to enjoy another vibrant evening in the city as Twilight Thursdays returns on Thursday 25 June, making the most of the long, bright days of midsummer.

Taking place just days after the summer solstice, this month’s edition offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy the city late into the evening, with daylight lingering and a relaxed summer atmosphere throughout Limerick.

Held on the last Thursday of each month, Twilight Thursdays is part of Limerick’s Night-Time Economy initiative, bringing together local businesses, cultural organisations and community groups to create a welcoming and lively city centre late into the evening.

June’s programme will feature a wide range of family-friendly activities, live entertainment and cultural experiences, encouraging people to stay longer, explore more, and experience the city in a different light - quite literally.

The initiative also supports local businesses by increasing footfall and creating opportunities to engage with new and returning customers in a lively evening setting.

The full programme of events is available at Limerick.ie/Twilight-Thursdays
