The Paint Scheme is a targeted support offered by Limerick City and County Council to the owners of vacant and derelict properties in the towns and villages of County Limerick. The support offered through the scheme is aimed at enhancing the properties to make a positive contribution to the wider streetscape.
The Scheme offers financial support of up to 75% of the cost of the work, subject to a maximum grant of €1000, to successful applicants who are the property owners. Terms and conditions apply and each application is treated on a case-by-case basis.
Generally, properties will be identified by the Dereliction, Vacancy & Reuse Team of Limerick City and County Council as being vacant/derelict and the owners of same will be engaged to participate.
Closing date for applications is Friday 2nd October 2026.
