The Community Hedge Cutting Grant Scheme offers communities up to €50 per km, per side of roadside hedge or overhanging trees. The scheme applies to public roads only, with a minimum road network length of 5km. All offending hedges and overhanging trees must be adequately cut back. The cutting season runs from 1st September to the last day of February, and applications will be accepted until 30th September 2025.
