Circular Living

  • Bottle Banks

There are 64 bottle bank locations throughout Limerick city and county which are managed by the Environment Department.
  • Construction and Demolition Waste (Domestic)

With Construction and Demolition waste representing the largest waste stream in Ireland (8 million tonnes annually), and landfill storage nearing capacity, we are encouraged to adopt more circular practices.
  • Domestic Food Waste Regulations

Recycling Food Waste is a positive climate action.
  • Relove Paint

Relove paint Limerick staff collect waste paint from recycling centres and remix it to provide a quality paint in a range of colours.
  • Repair My Stuff

For many, purchasing a new pc or new washing machine when an old one breaks is the norm. However, repair and reuse is often a cheaper and most certainly a more environmentally sustainable option.
  • Reuse and Repair Guide

Limerick City and County Council has produced a Repair and Reuse Directory to encourage people to repair and reuse to help reduce waste and protect the environment.
