Regulations
The EU Household Food Waste and Bio Waste Regulations 2015 impose obligations on both householders and waste collectors authorised by the National Waste Collection permit office.
Householders are obliged to segregate their food waste, and make it available for separate collection.
Authorised waste collectors are required to provide a separate collection service for household food waste regardless of where you live.
