Notice is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of the Roads Act 1993 of the decision of Limerick City and County Council to extend the road closure as detailed hereunder at the specified locations from Wednesday 17th January 2024 to Wednesday 15th January 2025 to facilitate Construction Works by Sisk Building Contractors Ltd for Limerick 2030 Opera Site.

Limerick City and County Council published the Transport Solution for the N/M20 Cork to Limerick Project in March 2022, and subsequently published a project update in February 2023. The transport solution is not limited to consideration of a single mode of transport but is based upon a holistic, multi modal view to improving connectivity, safety, and economic links between the cities of Cork and Limerick, and ultimately Galway.

In accordance with Section 180 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended), Limerick City and County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to consider the making of an order under Section 11 of the Roads Act 1993 to declare the roads set out in the schedule hereunder to be public roads.
