Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Limerick City and County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to introduce the following road amendments adjacent to Thomas Street (L-6182), Rathkeale, County Limerick.
- Introduction of 2 number pedestrian crossings
- Narrowing of carriageway and build out area
- Installation of bollards and planting areas
- All associated site works and road markings
Drawings and particulars of the proposed project are available for inspection at
- Limerick City and County Council, Adare/ Rathkeale Municipal District Office, Áras Seán Finn, New Line Road, Rathkeale, Co. Limerick (V94 HK1V),
and may be inspected during office hours from Friday 6th November 2026 to Friday 4th December 2026 inclusive. They are also available for inspection online during the above timeframe at https://mypoint.limerick.ie
Submissions or observations regarding the proposal may be made in writing to the above office or online at https://mypoint.limerick.ie on or before 5pm, on Friday 4th December2026.
