Limerick City and County Council wishes to advise motorists and road users that temporary night-time road closures will be in place on the M7 Westbound carriageway between J23 (Moneygall) and J24 (Toomevara) from Monday, 7 September 2026 to Friday, 11 September 2026, between the hours of 7.00 p.m. and 6.00 a.m., to facilitate road surfacing works.The M7 Westbound carriageway will be closed between J23 (Moneygall) and J24 (Toomevara) on the nights of 7th , 8th , 9th , 10th and 11th September 2026.
During daytime hours, aftercare works will be in operation. Traffic capacity will be reduced to a single lane through the closure of Lane 1, and a temporary speed limit of 60 km/h will apply.
Diversion routes will be clearly signposted
