Food | Heritage | Place

Linger: Limerick Festival of Food, Heritage and Place 2026 brought the city to life with a vibrant celebration Limerick's rich food culture, unique heritage and distinctive sense of place.

From 11th to 13th September, local food producers, chefs, community groups, artists and visitors came together for an unforgettable weekend of dining experiences, food trails, demonstrations, workshops, talks, cultural events and family-friendly activities

Building on the success of this year's festival, Linger Limerick will return in 2027. We're already looking ahead to next year's line-up and inviting individuals, businesses, creatives and community groups to be part of it.

The initiative is supported through the EU Interreg North-West Europe Programme as part of the SLOWTOUR project
