Create your own ceramic animal in this hand-building workshop inspired by the elegant Large Leopard produced by Meissen around 1750.

Founded in 1710, the Meissen porcelain manufactory became Europe’s first producer of true hard-paste porcelain, renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship, refined sculptural forms and exquisite hand-painted decoration. Using traditional hand-building techniques, you’ll sculpt a stylised animal which willexploring form, texture and surface detail.

 The workshop encourages careful observation alongside creative interpretation. Suitable for beginners and those with some ceramics experience. This workshop offers an enjoyable introduction to hand-building while celebrating the rich heritage of European ceramic art.
