Limerick City and County Council wishes to advise motorists, residents, businesses and road users of temporary traffic management arrangements on Rutland Street (R445), Limerick City on Thursday, 3rd September 2026 from 19:00hrs to 00:00hrs (Midnight).
The inbound lane to Limerick City Centre and the outbound right-turn lane to Charlotte Quay on Rutland Street (R445) will be affected to facilitate Ward & Burke's scheduled Find and Fix leak detection works and repairs to a watermain located in the area. The offset traffic lane inbound to Limerick City, together with the right-turn lane outbound for Charlotte Quay, will be subject to traffic management measures for the duration of the works. Motorists are advised to expect delays and, where possible, to plan their journey outside the evening peak period and allow additional travel time when travelling into Limerick City. Local access will be maintained where practicable.
