Creating Safe Space For Nature to Function: With Ted Cook and Pete Beaumont

Saturday 15th August @ 12pm
  • Creating Safe Space for Nature to Function

Ted Cook and Pete Beaumont of the Woodland League will demonstrate Self Repair within a seriously degraded Limestone Quarry - School and Community Treeplanting of County Genetic origin.

Add another 1.6-acre Hares’ Corner to our Nationwide Web of Habitat – the 26th consecutive Heritage Week at the site bar one. Bring packed lunch.
No booking required. No charge. Participants will add a Native Tree to this Primary School Project dating back to Mr. Séamus Doody’s Principalship in 1998. Heritage as a Consciousness endures (alteri saeculo) in the upcoming generations when we acknowledge those (some now passed) who preserved its Authenticity – Friends of the Arboretum – Andrew St Leger; Liam Dundon, Mike Cregan, Dr. Moira O’Donnell, Davey O’Keeffe, Laurence O’Connell, John Pearce and Séamus Doody.
