Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that the closure of Old Cratloe Road (L-8078), from the Country Club to the Limerick/Clare boundary at Killard, has been extended from Friday, 31st July 2026 to Friday, 30th October 2026 to facilitate the new construction on the Old Cratloe Road.
Traffic will be diverted via the newly constructed section of the dual carriageway constructed as part of the Coonagh to Knockalisheen Distributor Road to the R445 Clondrinagh Roundabout, continuing to the Meelick Roundabout, and onto the L-3110 Phares Road to its junction with the Old Cratloe Road (L-8078), Co. Clare.
- Diversions will be clearly signposted.
