Limerick City and County Council invites you to a spine-tingling edition of Twilight Thursdays, celebrating the spirit of Halloween with a vibrant mix of family fun, fitness, and frights this October 30th.

Limerick’s night-time economy is ready to thrill with dozens of events and promotions lined up to provide live music, pop-up performances, culinary delights, and extended opening hours at participating venues across the city.

Twilight Highlights

A centrepiece of the October Twilight Thursdays is a Halloween fancy dress Limerick Night Run, kicking off at 8:00 pm from King John’s Castle Plaza. This 5 km night-time run will create a ghoulishly fun spectacle with hundreds of costumed participants. (Entry €35 – limited tickets available)

There will be a motivational evening at the iconic One Opera Square as former special forces leader and bestselling author, Ray Goggins delivers a blend of music, inspiration, and meaningful connections at this fully booked-out show.

Families can enjoy the eerie atmosphere at the Twilight Milk Market, where Halloween Friends bring seasonal treats and spooky surprises. Culture lovers will enjoy exploring Día de los Muertos at Wickham Way, a vibrant celebration of Mexican heritage, while movie fans can settle in for a Frightful Film Night at Lumen HQ, featuring classic movie screamings in a unique setting.

Make your mark at a collaborative mural celebrating Limerick’s creativity with the Street Art Workshop – “Community Canvas”, or, enjoy spooky storytelling for all ages at O’Mahony’s Booksellers in a cosy Halloween-themed setting as Limerick performer Myles Breen delivers Halloween Twilight Tales
