Mayor John Moran is inviting expressions of interest from designers who wish to participate in the Brooklyn Fashion Incubator 2025 Global Fashion Collaborative, taking place on Thursday, 23rd October 2025 in New York City.
Financial Assistance will be provided from the Mayoral Fund but numbers are strictly limited.
This international event brings together emerging and established voices in fashion innovation, sustainability, and creative enterprise. It offers a unique opportunity to engage with global collaborators, showcase your work, and explore new avenues for development and partnership.
Eligibility & Submission Requirements
Applicants must submit the following:

A letter of introduction and intention outlining the benefits of attending for your practice

A current one-page CV

A brief description of your work and creative practice (less than one page)

Up to 5 Images or portfolio samples showcasing your work

A confirmation of availability to travel to New York and participate in the event on the specified dates (Note: One individual should be nominated to attend if a group application is made)
Deadline
All expressions of interest must be submitted by Friday 10th October at 5pm.

We welcome applications from diverse backgrounds and disciplines within the fashion and design sectors. Selection will be based on the quality of work, relevance to the event themes, and readiness to engage in international collaboration.
The Board of the Limerick Fashion Incubator will assess the applications. No lobbying or canvassing will be permitted. All applicants will be assessed solely on the materials submitted.
