Bottle Banks

There are 64 bottle bank locations throughout Limerick city and county which are managed by the Environment Department.  

Glass, aluminium cans and steel cans are the materials that can be deposited. Textile banks are available at some locations, as noted in the list below. 

Limerick City: 

  • Merchant's Quay (bottle banks at Merchant's Quay have been moved to Liddy Street from 30th November 2015. The bottle banks are being removed to facilitate construction works at this location)
