A Mayoral Reception was held on Tuesday, 30th January, 2024 in the Council Chamber, Merchant’s Quay for Fr. Séamus Enright.
Fr. Enright was honoured in recognition of his trojan work and contribution to Mount St. Alphonsus Church in Limerick City and the community in the fourteen years he was in situ there as the Rector of the Redemptorists and also in recognition and appreciation of his huge contribution to the success of the Redemptorist Christmas Hamper Appeal which ensures that families have food on the table for Christmas.
Also, in recognition of his involvement in the International effort to help those who have been displaced by the war in Ukraine.
