Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Limerick City and County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to introduce the following road layout amendments on the L1314 Killeline, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick:
- Construction of 490m of 1.2m to 1.8m wide Footpath along the L1314.
- Installation of Pedestrian Crossing with Belisha Beacons to NTA-TCD-0700-010 & TII-CC-SCD-05134 in front of West Limerick Physiotherapy & Neuro Rehabilitation Clinic.
- Installation of new Stormwater line with manholes and gullies.
- Installation of two speed ramps.
- Installation of appropriate Road Markings and Traffic Signage.
The works will involve the construction and installation of a new Pedestrian Crossing in front of West Limerick Physiotherapy & Neuro Rehabilitation Clinic to NTA Standard Detail NTA-TCD-0700-006 & TII-CC-SCD-05134, appropriate road markings and traffic signage. Construction of 490m of 1.2m to 1.8m wide approx. Footpath. Installation of appropriate Road Markings and Traffic Signage. Construction of a 225mm diameter stormwater line with manholes and gullies.
Drawings and particulars of the proposed project are available for inspection at Newcastle West Area Office, Aras William Smith O Brien, Gortboy, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick (V42 EH73) and Limerick City and County Council, Dooradoyle Rd, Dooradoyle, Limerick, (V94 WV78) and may be inspected during normal office hours 9am to 5pm from Wednesday 12th August 2026 to Wednesday 9th September 2026 inclusive. They are also available for inspection online during the above timeframe at https://mypoint.limerick.ie
