Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Limerick City & County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to introduce the following road amendments on the R527 Condell Road, Limerick City;
- Install new bus stops and bus/coach lay-bys,
- Install new road markings,
- Install new tactile paving,
- Install new footpath and drop-kerbs,
- Install new cycle lanes,
- Install raised pedestrian crossing.
The works will involve the construction and installation of bus stops and bus/coach lay-bys, new footpaths, cycle lanes, road markings, a raised pedestrian crossing and associated works.
Drawings and particulars of the proposed project are available for inspection at Limerick City and County Council, Dooradoyle Road, Dooradoyle, Limerick (V94 WV78) and Limerick City and County Council Corporate Headquarters, Merchants Quay, Limerick (V94 EH90) and may be inspected during normal office hours from Thursday 6th August to Friday 4th September inclusive. They are also available for inspection online during the above timeframe at https://mypoint.limerick.ie
Submissions or observations regarding the proposal may be made in writing to the above office or online at https://mypoint.limerick.ie on or before 5pm, on Friday 4th September 2026.
