Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that a Temporary Traffic Management Plan to close the L1423 at Curraghbeg will take place from 07:00 Tuesday 4th to 18:00 Friday 7th August 2026 – 24 hour closure each day.
This closure is necessary to facilitate the construction of the new road tie in to the existing road.
As a result, a temporary traffic management operation involving road closure and local diversion routes will be in operation for the duration of the works and any inconvenience is regretted.
Emergency service vehicles will have through access.
