Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Limerick City and County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to introduce the following road layout amendments on the R505, in Cappamore, Co. Limerick.
- Installation of a signalised traffic shuttle system on the bridge crossing River Bilboa on the R505 and associated works.
- Install new footpath on the bridge on the R505.
- Install new road markings etc.
The works will involve the construction and installation of a new footpath on the R505 on the bridge crossing River Bilboa on the R505 towards Doon, the installation of traffic lights and road markings.
Drawings and particulars of the proposed project are available for inspection at Kilmallock Area Office, Railway Rd, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick (V35 K497) and may be inspected during normal office hours from Friday 10th July to Friday 21st August 2026 inclusive. They are also available for inspection online during the above timeframe at https://mypoint.limerick.ie
Submissions or observations regarding the proposal may be made in writing to the above office or online at https://mypoint.limerick.ie on or before 5pm, Friday 21st August 2026.
