Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that a Traffic Management plan to close the L-1478 from its junction with N-20 to its junction with the L-1420 from 08:00hrs on Monday 13th April 2026 to 18:00hrs on Friday 24th April 2026. Diversions via N20 & R516. Diversions will be clearly signposted Local Traffic will be accommodated.This closure is necessary to facilitate the provision of new watermains on behalf of Uisce Éireann.
