Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Limerick City and County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to introduce the following road layout amendments on the L8504, in Knockainey, Co. Limerick.
- Installation of new 1.8 meter wide footpath in the village
- Installation of new drainage works
- Install new tactile paving, drop kerbs and Zebra Crossing
- Install new road markings etc.
- Upgrade of existing public lighting and Installation of new public lighting
The works will involve the construction and installation of new 1.8 meter wide footpath in the village, road markings, tactile paving, Zebra Crossing, drainage works, upgrading of existing public lighting and Installation of new public lighting and associated works.
Drawings and particulars of the proposed project are available for inspection at Kilmallock Area Office, Railway Rd, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick (V35 K497) and may be inspected during normal office hours from Friday 3rd of April to Friday 1st of May 2026 inclusive. They are also available for inspection online during the above timeframe at https://mypoint.limerick.ie
