Big Gigs – among the top acts bringing shows to Limerick’s premier venues are:
- Christmas by Candlelight – Singalong Christmas classics, music from festive movies and tributes to Coldplay and Abba in a stunning candle-lit setting.
- Mic Drop Comedy Club is back to make us laugh at The Commercial Bar on 06 December.
- Fossett’s Christmas Circus – Not just for kids, enjoy acrobatics, stunts and festive magic at the iconic Cleeves site (17 December to 4 January).

Council Support for Night-Time Economy
Limerick City and County Council is delighted to support a series of exciting night-time events through the Night-Time Economy Christmas Grant, to make Limerick shine even brighter after dark this Christmas.
This series of Limerick at Night events will add energy and atmosphere, making the city streets feel welcoming and alive throughout the season.
Supported events include:
- Treaty City Brewery Christmas Fair - A two-day celebration of music, food and festive cheer in the Medieval Quarter (20 and 21 December).
- Bring Back the Wren Charity Walk - Trad music and community spirit on St Stephen’s Day, ending with gigs at The Commercial and Record Room.
- Cool Yule on the Lane and the Christmas on the Lane – Jazzmas Experiment - Late-night jazz sessions bringing seasonal soul to the streets (various dates in December).
- Santa Bike Disco - Three Bridges Festive Cycle - A fun, illuminated ride through the city on 11 December.
- The New Year’s Day Sober Rave - Start 2026 with a warehouse party at Wickham Way featuring top DJs and a festival vibe without alcohol.
- Fashion Celebrating Christmas - A stylish showcase of festive looks at Bowes Ryan Café on 13 December.
- Limerick’s Vintage Toy Window - Nostalgia meets Christmas magic at Studio Saol from 5 December.
