A Mayoral Reception was held on Monday, 11th March, 2024 in the Council Chamber, Dooradoyle for Seán O'Sullivan in recognition of his achievement as Overall Winner, BT Young Scientist & Technologist of the Year at the 60th BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition 2024.
Also on the night, for Coláiste Chiaráin in recognition of the school's commitment to Science, Technology and STEM education, being awarded the Best School Republic of Ireland Award at the 2024 BT Young Scientist and Technology Competition.
