A terrific turnout, enjoyment and an excellent evenings learning was the consensus following the Limerick City and County Council’s Tidy Town’s seminar in the Woodlands Hotel Adare on February 15.
The Mayor of Limerick City and County, Cllr Francis Foley opened the proceedings with a welcome address, followed soon after by a short presentation relating to Public Art.
Limerick’s Tidy Towns volunteers had round table discussions on the Tidy Towns categories this was followed by feedback sessions and a open discussions with a panel all aimed at sharing knowledge of “doable” actions for the 2023 Tidy Towns application.
The panel on the night was national Tidy Towns Adjudicator, Conor O Brien, Sinead Mc Donnell, Environment Awareness Officer, Limerick City and County Council, Rhiannon Laubach and Jill Pitcher Farrell, Ballyhoura Development Company and Catriona Skully, West Limerick Resources.
