Statement following €100 million investment and 250 jobs announcement for ADI in Raheen

The Mayor of the City and County of Limerick Cllr Daniel Butler has welcomed the announcement by Analog Devices International that it is to invest €100 million in its campus in Raheen with the creation of 250 jobs.

Mayor Daniel Butler said: “This announcement is fantastic news for the entire Limerick City region with another multi-million euro investment in jobs and plant by one of Limerick’s stalwart FDI companies.”

“Analog has been in Limerick since 1976 and the plant and employees in Raheen have consistently shown their value and innovation to the global firm.”

“Today’s announcements is proof of the positive and sustaining eco-system in Limerick for new and existing companies wishing to invest here, cultivated by IDA Ireland and supported by Limerick City and County Council, other state agencies and the third level institutions.”

“This new ADI Catalyst project will see even greater levels of collaboration between customers, business partners, and suppliers engaging with ADI to rapidly develop industry-leading solutions, showcasing the innovative nature here in Limerick to advance next-gen technologies.”

Vincent Murray, Director of Economic Development and Enterprise with Limerick City and County Council said: “Today’s announcement by ADI shows that Limerick is at the forefront of industry-leading technologies and that we have the people that are creative and innovative to find solutions.”

“By working together, world leading firms can see that Limerick is the right fit for their businesses at whatever stage of development they are at.”

“Coming just weeks after the news of Ely Lilly’s planned €400 million investment in Raheen Business Park, the ADI investment again showcases the reasons why Limerick is the place to invest.”
