Limerick City and County Council advises motorists and road users that the following temporary night-time road closure will be in place to facilitate works on the N21 Eastbound and Westbound Lanes from Attyflin Junction 5 (intersection of the M20 with the N20) to the junction of the N21 with the L1427 from 7th October to 18th October 2026 nightly from 21:00hrs to 06:00hrs.
Diversion Routes:
- Via the N20 to O'Rourke's Cross
- Then via the R518/R520 from O'Rourke's Cross to Newcastle West
Local Diversion Route:
- Via the L1427 to Patrickswell using the Old N21
Local access will be maintained where practicable.
