Over two exciting days, Rathkeale comes alive with immersive storytelling, family-friendly activities, and spectacular Halloween entertainment for all ages.
Halloween Pumpkin Patch | Friday 30th October
Visit the Halloween Pumpkin Patch at Limerick Greenway Hub from 4pm to 8pm, where families can enjoy free pumpkin soup and hot chocolate and take part in pumpkin carving, storytelling and seasonal fun in a magical Halloween setting....discover more.
Parade Workshops | Saturdays 26th September, 3rd, 10th & 17th October
Get creative and help bring Rathkeale’s Halloween Parade to life with a series of free arts, crafts, and lantern-making workshops facilitated by Lumen Street Theatre.
Participants will create unique parade pieces that will feature in this year’s Halloween celebration.
Workshops are free to attend and run from 10am to 12pm for ages 7-12 and 12.30pm to 2pm for teenagers and adults.
Dullahan to Darkness Halloween Parade | Saturday 31st October
Join the Dullahan to Darkness Halloween Parade, with festivities beginning at 6pm at Rathkeale House Hotel before a spectacular narrative-led parade departs at 7pm.
Follow the story as the legendary Dullahan returns, transforming into the mysterious Child Catcher, in a captivating performance that brings folklore to life on the streets of Rathkeale.
Fancy Dress Disco | Saturday 31st October
The celebrations continue after the parade with an adults only Fancy Dress Disco at Mann’s in Rathkeale. Dress up in your best Halloween costume, compete for prizes and dance the night away to music from DJ Mike. Doors open at 9.30, with a €15 entry fee.
