Join Bruff Tidy Towns and the Local Authority Waters Programme (LAWPRO) for a guided river walk along the Morning Star River in the beautiful village of Bruff, Co. Limerick.
This special event will combine an exploration of the rich biodiversity of the area and an overview of the great work that has been undertaken by Bruff Tidy Towns in recent years to improve local water quality and instream habitat, and the ongoing work to maintain the river.
It will also include a kick sample to assess the ecological status of water quality in this section of the Morning Star River.
The event will be led by LAWPRO’s Regional Project Lead, Ruairí Ó Conchúir and the wonderful volunteers of Bruff Tidy Towns.
All are welcome to attend, with light refreshments provided in the park after the walk.
