Limerick City and County Council wishes to advise motorists and road users of the Lane Closure for the Project Opera House on behalf of Sisk Construction to facilitate Public Realm /Project Opera Works taking place on Bank Place from Friday 19th June 2026 after 9:30am.
Traffic Management will be in place for the duration of works. Alterations to the lanes on Bank Place is being facilitated: The old inbound lane on Bank Place to the City Centre is being taken into the Project Opera Site for Development initially and into the Public Realm space post Construction phases.
The Right turn Lane on Bank Place for Michael Street will become the New Inbound lane for City Centre Traffic. Traffic Management will be in place for the duration of the Project Works.
