As part of Bike Week Limerick, join the Castletroy Cruise, a guided group cycle designed to help people get to know the cycle lanes and local routes in the Castletroy area.
Find out how they connect into the wider city network. Did you know there are over 115 km of cycle lanes across Limerick? This is a relaxed and inclusive group ride, led by experienced bike leaders and using cycle lanes as much as possible. The route is flat and loop‑based, with short loops of up to 5 km, giving participants the choice to cycle as much or as little as they like. If you’re comfortable completing all of the loops, the full distance is up to 16 km. The Castletroy Cruise is suitable for all ages and abilities and is about building confidence for everyday cycling. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No booking required.
