Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that a Traffic Management plan to close the L- 1422 Blackabbey Road to its crossing with the new Adare Bypass from Tuesday 7th April to Friday 10th April 2026.
- Travelling west bound the Diversion during this time, N21 Adare to its junction with the L-8026 Croagh to its junction with L-8025 Garraunboy to its junction with L-1421 Ballinacurra, Co. Limerick
- Travelling East bound the Diversion during this time, L8024 Tuogh to its junction with L8025 Clonshire Beg to its junction with N21 Rower Beg Co. Limerick
This closure is necessary to facilitate the L1422 road construction works including drainage, kerbing and surfacing works.
Road Closure and local diversion routes will be in operation for the duration of the works
Local residents will be accommodated
Emergency Access will be made available where required.
