Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Limerick City and County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to introduce the following road layout amendments on the L1528, near Kilbehenny National School, Kilbehenny, Co. Limerick.
- Installation of new 1.8 meter wide footpath from National School
- Boundary removal and Installation of New Fence Line
- Installation of new drainage layout
- Install new tactile paving, drop kerbs at Junction with L15284
- Install new road markings etc.
- Installation of new public lighting
The works will involve the construction and installation of new 1.8 meter wide footpath on the L1528 from National School, road markings, tactile paving, drainage works, Installation of new public lighting, boundary removal and new fence line and associated works.
Drawings and particulars of the proposed project are available for inspection at Kilmallock Area Office, Railway Rd, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick (V35 K497) and may be inspected during normal office hours from Friday 3rd of April to Friday 1st of May 2026 inclusive. They are also available for inspection online during the above timeframe at https://mypoint.limerick.ie
Submissions or observations regarding the proposal may be made in writing to the above office or online at https://mypoint.limerick.ie on or before 5pm, Friday the 1st of May 2026.
