Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that SISK Building Contractors along with Irish Rail plan to complete railway crossing point Gate Installation Works at the Limerick-Foynes railway crossing from Monday 30th March 2026 to Friday/Saturday 11th April 2026 from 10:00hrs to 16:00 hrs.
Works will take place on the Railway Network at the following road junctions:
- Childers Road R509-11 at the Irish Rail Railway Crossing point, Rathbane, Limerick
- Greenfield/Rosbrien Road L-1144-1 at the Irish Rail Railway Crossing point, Rosbrien, Limerick
As a result, Traffic Management operations will be in place for the duration of these works.
