Watch Limerick Come to Life in St. Patrick’s Festival 2026 Highlights Video

From swirling banners and soaring kites to a joyful clown orchestra, traditional Irish dancing, lots of live music and breathtaking aerial acrobatics, Limerick’s St. Patrick’s Festival 2026 delivered colour, energy, and fun for kids of every age. Limerick City and County Council has released the official highlights video, capturing the spirit of the five‑day celebration that lit up Limerick.

Running from March 13th to 17th, this year’s theme - ‘Legends of Limerick’ - inspired a vibrant programme rooted in colour, culture, and community. Thousands lined the streets for a high‑octane St. Patrick’s Day Parade, where striking floats, talented performers, and proud local groups delivered a truly multicultural and memorable spectacle.

Across Limerick, the festival atmosphere thrived with live music, street entertainment, family‑friendly events, and the renowned 54th International Band Championship. An open‑air concert on the Legends of Limerick Stage and lively post‑parade celebrations in Arthur’s Quay Park drew enthusiastic crowds and added fresh energy to the festival.

The highlights video brings all of this to life, showcasing the atmosphere, energy, and community pride that made this year’s festival a standout celebration of what makes Limerick unique.
