Temporary Closure of Roads: Sir Harry's Mall (L-10143), Limerick City

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of the Roads Act 1993 of the intention of Limerick City and County Council to close the roads as detailed hereunder at the specified times and locations to facilitate the King's Island Flood Relief Scheme.

These are approximate dates at this stage; all works on the northern half of Sir Harry's Mall will reopen and then mobilise to the southern half straight away.

  • Emergency Services will be accommodated where possible
  • Local access will be accommodated 

Any person may lodge an objection to the proposal to close these roads by email to roads@limerick.ie or in writing to the Administration Team, Central Services, Roads, Limerick City and County Council, Dooradoyle, Limerick not later than 4pm, Tuesday 24th February 2026.
