Notice is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of the Roads Act 1993 of the intention of Limerick City and County Council to close the roads as detailed hereunder at the specified times and locations on 17th March 2026 to facilitate the Adare St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2026.

N21 Adare, County Limerick Part of the N21 from its junction with L1420/L1424 Lantern Lodge junction to its junction with R519 Murphys Cross/Ballingarry Road junction. |
Travelling from Limerick to Adare, turn left onto L1420 at Lantern Lodge and turn right onto L8022 towards Castleroberts & Beabus. Turn right onto R519 at Beabus and turn left onto N21 at Murphy’s Cross. The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction. |
From 14:30hrs to 16:30hrs On Tuesday 17th March 2026 |
- Diversions will be clearly signposted.
- Local Access will be accommodated.
Any person may lodge an objection to the proposal to close these roads by email to roads@limerick.ie or in writing to the Administration Team, Central Services, Roads, Limerick City and County Council, Dooradoyle, Limerick not later than 4:00pm on Tuesday 3rd February 2026.
